Here's a new one for me. It's called milkfish. In the Philippines, where it is the hugely popular national fish, it's called bangus.
It's supposed to be terribly bony, but I didn't find it bad at all. It's a white fish with a nice mild flavour. Easy to clean and cook and quite meaty.
Quite a bargain, as well. This one fed three people for just a little over five bucks.
