Made vegetable stock this time.
It's amazing how much flavour comes out of mere veggies.
I've made loads of meat and fish stock before. But this is the first time I've made veg stock and I wasn't expecting much. But I was absolutely gobsmacked. I could not believe how much flavour is in this stuff.
You would have to dilute it 3 to 1 to make a vegetable soup and, even then, it would beat anything you could possibly buy.
It is so worth the effort to make this. The stuff has a million uses. And, my goodness, did I mention the flavour!
